Position Overview

Publicis Sapient (PS), a global frontrunner in Digital Business Transformation (DBT), is seeking a Client Partner with a proven history of delivering results to enhance our outstanding client service team for the DACH region.

Focused on the Energy & Commodities sector, you will leverage the extensive capabilities of PS and the broader Publicis Groupe to uncover new opportunities, engage new decision-makers, and develop innovative strategies that assist our clients in transitioning to a more digitally advanced future, thereby benefiting their operations and clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the energy transition as a Client Partner within our Energy & Commodities sector.
  • Cultivate essential customer relationships and enhance customer value and satisfaction at designated accounts, acting as the PS leader by coordinating relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for current clients while expanding the client base, ensuring sustainable year-over-year growth.
  • Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual booking targets, ensuring that contractual agreements align with established commercial objectives.
  • Provide insightful industry knowledge to formulate viable strategies for clients' digital business transformation journeys.
  • Build relationships at the C-suite and C-1 levels to influence and advance a comprehensive transformation agenda.
  • Oversee the PS Account Plan and maintain a holistic relationship with each client to achieve measurable sales and revenue growth, along with overall satisfaction.
  • Create a relationship map, establish a 2 to 3-year vision and strategy, and manage tactical implementations to promote the full PS portfolio.
  • Strengthen connections with customer CXOs (beyond the CIO) through marketing initiatives, thought leadership, account references, and public relations opportunities.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate agreements aimed at achieving mutually advantageous outcomes for both PS and its clients.
  • Advocate for clients internally, ensuring all opportunities are accurately represented and forecasted in the PS CRM pipeline to enhance visibility and cross-selling opportunities across all practices, capabilities, and alliance partner teams.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of PS go-to-market offerings and solutions, brand and network development, cross-client business lines, and industry trends.
  • Exhibit exceptional performance and results in achieving goals, account management, diversity and people development, business/financial/technical specialization, innovation, and contributions to the PS Growth Force Community.
  • Engage with the Global Client Partner community and contribute to Growth Force community strategies, best practices, case studies, and educational initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Several years of experience in the energy and commodities sector, particularly within professional services, with a proven track record as an account manager or client partner.
  • Extensive experience in managing and growing a Book of Business exceeding €3 million.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative demand generation and business development within the industry.
  • A strong commitment to leadership, equality, and societal impact.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain Trusted Partner-level relationships with both C-suite client contacts and internal stakeholders through a robust industry perspective and understanding of client needs.
  • Strong global leadership skills to manage a team of up to 20 and drive change while inspiring and developing others; prior experience as a people manager is preferred.
  • A strong learning mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, including fostering learning agility, personal adaptability, and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Flexibility and mobility to work in a hybrid environment and travel to client sites as required.
