Client Engagement Specialist
Location: Frankfurt/Berlin
The Client Engagement Specialist (CES) plays a pivotal role in managing the renewal processes for a designated group of clients. Your primary responsibility is to maintain existing contract revenue while facilitating new sales opportunities within these accounts, collaborating closely with the Account Executive. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure that client requirements are met effectively, supporting the renewal process. Your success will be evaluated based on the retention rates of the accounts you oversee, and you will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement retention strategies for assigned strategic accounts through a comprehensive renewal plan. Provide monthly updates to your manager, identifying high-risk accounts and proposing strategies for improvement. Collaborate with the Product Training Specialist team to ensure clients receive adequate training and maximize product utilization. Manage the entire renewal lifecycle, including pricing, contracting, invoicing, and addressing client concerns throughout the fiscal year. Assist in new sales initiatives within existing accounts to enhance customer return on investment with Dow Jones. Gain a thorough understanding of your clients, including their business needs, the value they derive from Dow Jones services, and their competitive landscape. Act as a liaison for client feedback and competitive insights to the Dow Jones Product, Content & Marketing teams. Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth within your accounts through up-selling and cross-selling initiatives. Maintain accurate client records in our systems and engage with clients via phone and email.Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer engagement or sales. Proficiency in both German and English. Strong project management and organizational skills with a focus on detail. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.Benefits:
