We are seeking a Global Supply Market Specialist (f/m/d) at Innomotics – A Siemens Business.
Your Role in the Organization.
At Innomotics, we focus on motors and drives, revolutionizing reliable motion across various applications. Our team comprises over 15,000 dedicated professionals committed to engineering the future and ensuring operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of global supply markets relevant to our Low Voltage Business, delivering insightful information to the Strategic Procurement Team based on current trends, market indices, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with Commodity Managers and local procurement teams to devise strategies that mitigate risks associated with fluctuating material markets.
  • Lead targeted projects to identify potential risks within supplier markets and supply chains, defining effective mitigation strategies and implementing them within cross-functional teams.
  • Engage in thorough research of external sources, ensuring precise evaluation of data and the effective communication of findings.
  • Develop stakeholder-oriented solutions that adapt to changing environments, enhancing your expertise.
  • Support strategic buyers with critical information for material cost planning and budgeting for procurement activities.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of raw materials and global economic trends to provide valuable insights to product managers, sales, finance, and procurement controlling teams.
Your Qualifications.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or a similar role within electromechanical industries.
  • In-depth understanding of global economics, industrial supplier markets, and purchasing contract management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen interest in global economic and political developments.
  • Proficient in Excel, databases, and BI tools.
  • Familiarity with global value chains and cost structure analysis, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities for procurement.
  • Results-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving and a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Culturally aware and empathetic, capable of uniting diverse perspectives and motivating teams.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
