Position Overview.
We are seeking a Supply Market Analyst (f/m/d) to contribute to our operations at Innomotics – A Siemens Business.
Your Role in the Organization.
At Innomotics, we focus on motors and drives, transforming reliable motion from daily check-ins to lifecycle uptime, and from basic operations to advanced smart solutions. Your Key Responsibilities.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of global supply markets for our Low Voltage Business, delivering detailed insights to the Strategic Procurement Team based on current trends, market indices, cost factors, and risk assessments.
  • As part of a global strategic procurement framework, you will develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with fluctuating material markets, collaborating closely with Commodity Managers and local procurement teams.
  • Lead specialized projects to identify potential risks within supplier markets and supply chains, defining appropriate mitigation strategies, aligning with management, and executing them within cross-functional teams.
  • Engage in thorough research of external sources, ensuring precise data evaluation and the IT-based presentation of findings.
  • Formulate stakeholder-oriented solutions in a dynamic environment, enhancing your profile and expertise.
  • Provide essential information support to our strategic buyers for material cost planning and budgeting of purchasing activities.
  • Utilize your comprehensive understanding of raw materials and global economic trends to serve as a valuable partner to product managers, sales, finance, and procurement controlling teams.
Your Qualifications.
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a similar role within electromechanical industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of global economics, industrial supplier markets, and purchasing contract management.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen interest in global economic and political dynamics.
  • Proficient in Excel, databases, and BI tools.
  • Familiarity with global value chains and cost structure analysis, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities for procurement.
  • Results-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving and a hands-on mentality.
  • Strong communication skills and a confident presence, with the ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Cultural awareness and a people-centric approach with empathy.
  • Ability to unite diverse perspectives and motivate team members.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
