About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Market Analyst to join our team at Innomotics GmbH, a leading company in the electromechanical industry. As a Supply Market Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing global supply markets and providing comprehensive information to our Strategic Procurement Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Continuously analyze global supply markets for our Low Voltage Business, providing the latest trends, market indices, cost, and risk information.
  • Risk Mitigation: Define the right approaches to mitigate risks from volatile material markets in close collaboration with Commodity Managers and local procurement teams.
  • Project Management: Lead dedicated projects to identify potential risks in supplier markets and supply chains, and implement adequate mitigation measures in a cross-functional team.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct intensive research of external sources, accurate evaluation of data, and IT-based provision of results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Create stakeholder-oriented solutions in a changing environment, aligning with management and implementing those in a cross-functional team.
  • Procurement Support: Provide information support to our strategic buyers when planning material cost and budgeting our purchasing activities.
About You
  • Education: Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or comparable qualification.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or similar function in electromechanical industries.
  • Skills: Deep knowledge of global economics, industrial supplier markets, and purchasing contract management; outstanding analytical skills with a vital interest in global economics and politics; strong knowledge and experience in Excel, databases, and BI-tools.
  • Language Skills: Fluent language skills in German and English.
