Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed Supervisor for Electrical & Automation to join our R&D team focusing on PE Vacuum SIHI dry & boost technologies.
In this position, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of software/firmware and electrical hardware for our SIHI dry and Boost product lines. You will report directly to the engineering manager of MHV.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and foster the development of a global team dedicated to automation and electrical projects.
- Coordinate product development and future software/firmware initiatives for SIHI dry & boost control technology in collaboration with the product manager and engineering manager.
- Lead the electrical design and validation of components throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Generate project-related documentation, including service manuals, training materials, and operational instructions.
- Provide support for various operational functions such as order engineering, commercial operations, quality assurance, supply chain management, production, assembly, and service.
- Implement international standards and regulations during electrical and software development processes.
- Conduct design FMEAs and risk assessments.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in electronics, automation technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing PLC controls using Codesys, microcontroller solutions, and fieldbus topologies.
- Proficient in creating wiring diagrams and using E-plan.
- Strong knowledge of drive technology, including soft starters and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP applications.
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of personal accountability.
- Ability to coordinate development projects among the PE team, GTECs, and external partners.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and design.
