The Sales Development Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance of the Sales team throughout the entire lead and opportunity management process. This position is primarily accountable for assisting the Area Sales Managers by engaging in cold outreach, promoting additional sales opportunities, and supporting both end users and partners. The role also involves providing essential templates and guidelines for sales meetings and strategic business planning.
In addition, the Sales Development Specialist collaborates closely with the Inside Sales Manager to manage daily business operations, including reporting, data analysis, and preparation for meetings. Building effective and professional relationships with various teams across the organization, such as sales regions, marketing, and product channels, is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Drive additional revenue through proactive activities, including inbound and outbound communications, lead management, and opportunity tracking for the Central Europe Market.
- Provide regional support to Area Sales Managers.
- Maintain high data quality standards in CRM and reporting tools.
- Adhere to established processes and systems for Lead & Pipeline Management within CRM software.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with Promethean regional teams to enhance customer service and commitment to a defined sales strategy.
- Support customer meetings and presentations, including cold outreach efforts.
- Assist the Sales Team in managing Promethean Partners in daily operations, such as submitting requested information and forwarding leads.
- Ensure accurate information management by sharing relevant sales content with the team.
- Fluent in German with proficient written and spoken English.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential.
- This role requires excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A vocational education or several years of experience in Inside Sales is advantageous.
- Proficient time management skills to prioritize a fast-paced workload.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to foster creative and innovative thinking.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Experience with Cognos is beneficial.
- A basic understanding of technical concepts is desirable.
