Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to lead our global channel management strategy, focusing on indirect sales. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive sales growth and channel effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a global channel management strategy, encompassing diverse sales channels, with a focus on indirect sales.
  • Consolidate local sales channel management strategies into a single global framework.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to identify and convert sales channels into viable markets.
  • Translate strategy into actionable operational plans.
  • Make strategic decisions regarding price-performance ratio, product portfolio, and services to increase market share in relevant sales channels.
  • Regularly assess channel performance metrics and market data to derive insights, enhance channel effectiveness, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with existing and potential resellers, converting them into proactive partners for mutual growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the sales channel team, encouraging a culture of innovation, excellence, and adaptability.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in B2B sales.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of work experience in senior sales roles within a technical or manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing diverse (indirect) sales channels.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools and CRM systems to drive informed decision-making and optimize sales performance across various channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel globally as needed.
  • Very good written and spoken English skills.
  • Good to very good German skills are advantageous.
