Global HR M&A Project Manager

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in M&A, project management, and global HR operations. As a Global HR M&A Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in representing HR as the Workstream Lead in M&A deals, working closely with Global HR Business Partners, the company, and all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent HR as the Workstream Lead in M&A deals, coordinating with Global HR Business Partners, the company, and all stakeholders.
  • Develop and drive the HR Due Diligence report, presented to the deal team.
  • Plan HR data requests, organize documentation of results, identify, quantify, and mitigate risks, and ensure integration considerations and budget requirements are prepared.
  • Participate in expert sessions and collaborate with the legal department to develop HR-related paragraphs in the Master Sale and Purchase Agreement.
  • Support the company in developing a retention plan, working closely with the Global HR Business Partner.
  • Act as a consultant during the integration phase, working with the dedicated HR Integration Manager and responsible HR Business Partner.
  • Contribute to the strategic alignment of the HR M&A function and continuously improve existing templates and tools.
  • Support the upskilling of HR workstream resources by providing coaching and advice as required.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field with a focus on HR or Project Management.
  • Many years of experience as an HR professional in an international, complex matrix organization and in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Several years of experience in leading large, complex HR transformation or cross-functional HR projects with demonstrable delivery of project requirements.
  • Broad, generalist HR knowledge (concepts, systems, tools, processes) and ideally international HR experience.
  • Basic knowledge of M&A processes; in-depth experience in M&A-related topics, especially practical experience and know-how in M&A deals, is highly valued.
