Key Responsibilities:- Create sales opportunities in the CRM system by observing and identifying customer needs.
- Track relevant sales leads and ensure follow-up, adhering to commercial law and ethical principles.
- Visit customers to deepen existing relationships or establish new ones.
- Process customer inquiries and forward them to the central quotation department.
- Check and manage quotations and orders.
- Utilize Valmet's sales tools to enhance efficiency.
- Act as a liaison between customers, central sales support, and operations teams to clarify questions and develop solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, engineering technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in the process industry and/or automation technology.
- Strong customer focus and ability to turn customer problems into commercial solutions.
- Fluency in German and English, with good intercultural communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic business environment and apply problem-solving skills under time pressure.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of working time within the sales territory, with occasional international travel.
- Valid car driver's license.
