Oracle Database Administrator Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to oversee and enhance our database systems. This position involves:

  • Administering database environments, including automation, installation, configuration, and storage management within a traditional Oracle framework.
  • Working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals across various locations to establish systems, ensure seamless integration, and explore optimization opportunities.
  • Actively engaging in projects, providing team support, and taking on partial leadership responsibilities when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT discipline.
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with high-availability relational database management systems, particularly Oracle and MSSQL.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for process automation.
