**Your Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Biomass International team in Düsseldorf. As an International Biomass Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Originating and developing international biomass sourcing and trading opportunities for Uniper's customers and projects.
  • Developing and executing global sourcing and trading partnerships.
  • Building and maintaining a strong global network of biomass suppliers, consumers, freight and logistics partners, and service providers.
  • Providing strategic, analytical, and commercial support to Uniper's projects and partnerships.
  • Utilizing and further developing all necessary trading tools, limits, reporting, and position and risk management tools.
  • Formulating and executing a detailed annual international biomass business development plan as part of the overall Uniper biomass strategy.
  • Producing clear reports on market developments, deal and partnership opportunities, price forecasts, and risks.
  • Supporting teams on international biomass-related topics and requirements and cooperating with relevant departments and consultants in and outside Uniper.
  • Representing Uniper in (inter)national biomass forums and industry events.

**Your Profile**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial business and relationship skills.
  • Confident communication and the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships at all levels.
  • Affinity with physical and financial commodity transactions.
  • Analytical and financial experience with financial statements, credit ratings, risk metrics.
  • Planning and organizing skills, including effective prioritizing, resource management, and a long-term strategic focus.
  • The ideal candidate has experience in the field of biomass and/or sustainable fuels and systems.
