Palliative Care Coordinator

Caritasverband Marburg e. V. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Stellvertretende Pflegedienstleitung in our ambulatory care team.

About the Role

  • Collaborate with the Pflegedienstleitung to oversee the management and regular evaluation of the care process.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans, conduct home visits, and provide leadership support to the care team.
  • Provide expert guidance, training, and motivation to ensure high-quality care that meets professional, legal, and economic standards.
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, therapists, and colleagues to provide patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Completed education as a healthcare professional (e.g., nurse, caregiver) or equivalent.
  • Desirable: completion of a leadership development program or a degree in healthcare management.
  • Experience in ambulatory care, preferably with wound and stoma management expertise.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to patients and their families.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to drive for work-related purposes.
