Audiovisual Metadata Manager

BMG RIGHTS MANAGEMENT GmbH - Corporate is seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Metadata Manager to join our Global Copyright Services team in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our success in music publishing by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of audiovisual song data for global registration with collecting societies.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare audiovisual song data for global registration, ensuring compliance with music publishing standards
- Coordinate the conversion and digitization of cue sheets with third-party vendors
- Generate rolled-up cues to maintain comprehensive music data management
- Match and process song files to ensure the integrity and accuracy of music metadata
- Prepare audio-visual production load files for seamless ingestion into music publishing systems
- Operate and contribute to the development of our internal databases and workflow processes
- Collaborate with Data Stewards to automate audiovisual processing procedures
- Significant experience in metadata management within the music industry, preferably at a music publisher or collecting society
- A profound understanding of music publishing operations and copyright administration
- Deep expertise in specific copyright rules for audiovisual repertoire and experience with cue sheet processing in a music publishing context
- Proficiency in Python and data process automation skills are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German or other languages is an advantage
