Electrical Package Manager – Commercial Construction – Data Centre Project
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Electrical Package Manager to secure a permanent role with a reputable commercial construction firm. Our client is a prominent company in the industry, known for its consistent growth and successful project execution.

The company is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to join their workforce on a full-time basis, focusing on a significant data centre project. The role will involve working on a FIFO roster.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the Electrical Systems package.
  • Ensure site safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
  • Foster a strong culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the team.
  • Manage the project schedule effectively.
  • Control all costs associated with the electrical package.
  • Supervise daily site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities, tracking progress against the schedule and manpower levels.
  • Provide direct labour hours and subcontractor hours to the time administrator for centralized tracking.
  • Attend site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning and coordination meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Prepare and issue weekly cost reports.
  • Generate internal weekly progress reports based on project supervisors' updates.
  • Create external weekly progress reports for the project manager, highlighting issues such as delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and project completion percentages.
  • Schedule material deliveries in alignment with the project timeline and track all deliveries.
  • Maintain a weekly photographic diary of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Relevant Electrical Qualification (e.g., Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering).
  • Proven experience in Electrical Package Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage large-scale installation projects.
  • Experience in handling Industrial Relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Background in design and build projects.
  • Solid technical understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
