Electrical Package Manager – Commercial Construction – Data Centre Project
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Package Manager to advance their career. Our client is a reputable commercial construction firm with a strong presence in the industry.

Due to ongoing growth, there is an immediate need for a proficient Electrical Package Manager to join the team on a full-time basis for a significant data centre project. This role involves a FIFO roster arrangement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Electrical Systems package.
  • Ensure Site Safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Foster a strong culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the team.
  • Manage the Project Schedule effectively.
  • Control all costs related to the Electrical package.
  • Supervise daily site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate sub-contractor activities, monitoring progress against the schedule and workforce levels.
  • Report direct labour hours and sub-contractor hours for centralized tracking.
  • Participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Coordination Meetings, and Handover Meetings.
  • Provide weekly cost reports.
  • Compile internal weekly progress reports based on project supervisors' updates.
  • Deliver external weekly progress reports to the project manager, highlighting any issues such as delays, design shortages, third-party hold-ups, and overall project completion percentage.
  • Schedule and track material deliveries in alignment with the project timeline.
  • Maintain a weekly photographic diary of the project.

Qualifications:

  • Essential Electrical Qualification, such as a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Prior experience in Electrical Package Management.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and managing large-scale installation projects.
  • Familiarity with Industrial Relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Experience in design and build processes.
  • Solid technical understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
