The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing a significant data centre project, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of the Electrical Systems package.
- Ensure compliance with site safety regulations.
- Foster a strong culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices within the team.
- Manage the project schedule effectively.
- Control all costs associated with the electrical package.
- Supervise daily site operations.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate sub-contractor activities, monitoring progress and resource allocation.
- Provide accurate labour hour reports for tracking purposes.
- Participate in various project meetings, including site and engineering reviews.
- Generate weekly cost reports for management review.
- Compile internal progress reports based on supervisor updates.
- Prepare external progress reports for project management, highlighting any challenges or delays.
- Schedule and track material deliveries in alignment with project timelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive photographic record of project progress.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Relevant Electrical Qualification (e.g., Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering).
- Proven experience in Electrical Package Management.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage large-scale installation projects.
- Familiarity with Industrial Relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Experience in design and build processes.
- Solid technical understanding of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
