Electrical Package Manager – Commercial Construction – Data Centre Project
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Package Manager to secure a permanent role within a reputable commercial construction firm. Our client, a well-established entity in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced professional to oversee a significant data centre project.

As such, there is an immediate need for a qualified Electrical Package Manager to become part of the team on a full-time basis, focusing on a large-scale data centre initiative.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of the Electrical Systems package.
  • Ensure site safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Foster a strong culture of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards within the team.
  • Manage the project schedule effectively.
  • Control all costs associated with the electrical package.
  • Supervise daily site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress against schedules and manpower levels.
  • Report direct labour hours and subcontractor hours for centralized tracking.
  • Attend various project meetings, including site meetings and internal reviews.
  • Provide weekly cost reports.
  • Generate internal weekly progress reports based on project supervisors' updates.
  • Deliver external weekly progress reports to project management, highlighting issues such as delays and design shortages.
  • Schedule and track material deliveries in alignment with the project timeline.
  • Maintain a photographic diary of the project on a weekly basis.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Relevant Electrical Qualification (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering).
  • Prior experience in Electrical Package Management is required.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and managing large-scale installation projects.
  • Experience in handling Industrial Relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with design and build processes.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
