International Logistics Tender Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Global Logistics Tender Manager (m/f/d) to enhance our operational capabilities. In this position, you will oversee the development of detailed transportation strategies, budgeting, and logistics planning specifically tailored for wind farm initiatives. Your expertise will be vital in managing tender processes, formulating logistics strategies, conducting cost analyses, and mitigating risks to ensure seamless logistics operations from production facilities to project sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of Logistics Strategies: Formulate and implement logistics strategies that enhance the efficiency of transportation and logistics for wind farm projects. Transportation Planning & Financial Forecasting: Create comprehensive transportation plans and financial forecasts for the logistics components of sales proposals. Tender Documentation Preparation: Generate precise cost estimates for the logistics of major components, ancillary materials, and tools necessary for wind farm projects. Risk Assessment: Analyze project scopes, identify potential risks and opportunities, and engage in the internal project review process to devise effective risk management strategies. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Legal teams during the tendering process to ensure comprehensive project integration. Cost Management & Data Analysis: Maintain and update the cost database, incorporating insights from past projects to enhance future project precision and effectiveness. Global Communication: Facilitate communication between regional teams and headquarters to ensure cohesive information flow. Enhancement of Documentation: Contribute to the ongoing refinement of technical documents related to tenders and execution logistics, improving the overall quality and clarity of project documentation.CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Educational Qualifications: A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management/Logistics, or equivalent professional experience. Industry Expertise: Solid understanding of wind turbine logistics and project logistics, along with experience in port operations. Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all management levels. International Experience: Background in working within an international matrix organization. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in Spanish and/or German being advantageous. Technical Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.Nordex is committed to equal employment opportunities.
