Position: Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller at Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cost Management: Monitoring and reporting on cost structures to enhance financial performance.
  • Financial Planning: Assisting in the development of comprehensive financial forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluating corporate objectives through variance analysis and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Financial Reporting: Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Performance Accounting: Managing both internal performance accounting and external performance allocations.
  • Cost Center Accounting: Preparing detailed cost center accounts and establishing surcharge rates.
  • Departmental Consultation: Advising various departments with strategic concept proposals.
  • Project Implementation: Taking conceptual responsibility for projects and ensuring their successful execution.
  • Process Optimization: Participating in the enhancement of controlling processes and the evolution of ERP systems, including transitions to advanced platforms.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration with a specialization in finance or controlling, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in controlling within the manufacturing sector, ideally in machinery and plant construction.
  • A methodical and autonomous working style, coupled with a readiness to embrace creative freedom.
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial data.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and database applications; familiarity with advanced systems is a plus.
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Proficient command of the English language.
