Position: Senior Financial Controller

As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cost Management: Monitoring and reporting on cost efficiency.
• Strategic Planning: Assisting in the development of financial forecasts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
• Performance Monitoring: Evaluating corporate objectives through variance analysis and providing actionable recommendations.
• Financial Reporting: Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Performance Accounting: Managing both internal performance accounting and external performance allocations.
• Cost Center Analysis: Preparing cost center accounts and calculating surcharge rates.
• Departmental Consultation: Advising various departments with innovative concept proposals.
• Project Management: Taking conceptual responsibility and executing projects effectively.
• Process Optimization: Engaging in the enhancement of controlling processes and the advancement of ERP systems, including transitions to S/4 HANA.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance or Controlling, or equivalent qualifications.
• Extensive experience in controlling within the manufacturing sector, preferably in machinery and plant engineering.
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach while embracing creative freedom.
• Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial data.
• Proficient in SAP FI/CO and database applications; experience with S/4 HANA is a plus.
• Excellent skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions.
• Proficient in English communication.
