Position: Financial Controller
As a Financial Controller at Brückner Maschinenbau GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cost Management: You will be responsible for cost controlling and detailed reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of company forecasts and planning, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and contribution margins.
- Performance Monitoring: Control and monitor corporate objectives through variance analyses, providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance.
- Financial Reporting: Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Performance Accounting: Manage and implement performance accounting processes, both internally and for external allocations.
- Cost Center Accounting: Prepare cost center accounting and determine surcharge rates to optimize financial efficiency.
- Departmental Consultation: Collaborate with various departments to provide concept proposals that align with financial strategies.
- Project Implementation: Take conceptual responsibility for and implement projects that enhance financial operations.
- Process Optimization: Engage in the optimization of controlling processes and contribute to the further development of ERP systems, including transitions to advanced platforms.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration with a specialization in finance or controlling, or equivalent qualifications.
- Extensive experience in controlling within the manufacturing sector, particularly in machinery and plant construction.
- Ability to work independently with a structured approach and a willingness to leverage creative freedom.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial data and business intelligence.
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO and database applications, with experience in S/4 HANA being a plus.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Fluency in English is essential.
