Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineering Lead

Vorwerk Digital is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineering Lead to join our team. As a Cloud Platform Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in the development and operations of our digital products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable cloud-based systems and software.
  • Define and continuously optimize operational quality gates to ensure high-quality delivery of our digital products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that cloud-based solutions adhere to quality scenarios in the areas of reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and portability.
  • Analyze error situations and recommend solution options, implement these, and take actions to prevent future errors.
  • Coach development teams in operational excellence to ensure smooth maintenance and operations.

Requirements:

  • Professional experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or in a comparable position.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, release management, application architecture, systems analysis, performance analysis, and configuration management.
  • Experience with concepts and disciplines such as DevSecOps, FinOps, GitOps, and chaos engineering.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or other technical fields.
  • Fluent English language skills, German language is a plus.
