As a Logistics Operations Specialist at Alstom, you will play a key role in transforming the collective mobility towards a more sustainable future. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to challenge current costs and regional set-up for logistics operations, realize achievable cost improvements by selecting capable 3PL for the DACH region, and generate ideas of process improvement.

Purpose of the Job:

  • To challenge current costs and regional set-up for logistics operations.
  • To realize an achievable cost improvement by selecting capable 3PL for the DACH region.
  • To generate ideas of process improvement.
  • To participate in a regional RFI/RFQ with a successful implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design DACH RFQ template based on ALSTOM's global requirements for 8 sites in 2 waves.
  • Analyse transaction data based on the ALSTOM Material flows (FL01-08).
  • Prepare an RFQ package for 3PL with necessary input requirements.
  • Prepare and design possible additional requests, returnable management.
  • Align supplier input data to meet ALSTOM's standards.
  • Compare 3PL offers in order to prepare supplier selection and the award decision(s).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
  • Industrial processes basic knowledge.
  • Fluent in English, optionally skills in German.
  • Good entrepreneurship and persistence.
  • Very good agility and collaborative spirit.
  • Dynamic, proactive and autonomous.
