Job Overview

As a Field Application Engineer PCB at Sanmina, you will play a critical role in driving demand for our technical services and content by leveraging our expertise to identify and facilitate solutions for customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Accountability for identifying and driving demand by leveraging Sanmina's technical services and content for designs.
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to creatively leverage Sanmina's technical capabilities and NPI service resources to identify and facilitate solutions for customers.
  • Working as a close partner with the sales team on customer strategies, providing comprehensive technical support and guidance to drive design wins, maximum margins, and market share.
  • Developing relationships with customer engineers and technical management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of PCB/Backplane technologies and the relationship between these technologies and market requirements, including vertical segmentation.
  • Providing on-site customer support for quality plan definition and quality planning, as well as non-conformance support.

Your Profile

  • BA or BS qualified.
  • 7+ years of field sales experience or similar technical/quality function in PCB/Backplane.
  • Experience in high-tech, automotive, industrial, medical, aviation.
  • Knowledge of the complete PCB design cycle.
  • Preferrably experience on high-speed design and RF technologies, impedance, and insertion loss simulation.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle pressure.
  • Time management and organizational skills are an essential part of this position.
  • Understanding of sales activities, sales cycle, and techniques.
  • Established, strong, and significant relationships with key technology drivers in the market and has very thorough and long-established working relationships with customers.
  • This position requires travel 25-50% of the time.
