We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer PCB to join our team at Sanmina. As a Field Application Engineer PCB, you will be responsible for identifying and driving demand by leveraging Sanmina's content and technical services for designs.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for identifying and driving demand by leveraging Sanmina's content and technical services for designs
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to creatively leverage Sanmina's technical capabilities and NPI service resources to identify and facilitate solutions for customers
  • Working as a close partner with the sales team on customer strategies, by providing comprehensive technical support and guidance to drive design wins, maximum margins and market share
  • Developing relationships with customer engineers and technical management
  • Comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of PCB/Backplane technologies and the relationship between these technologies and market requirements, including vertical segmentation
  • Providing on-site customer support for quality plan definition and quality planning, as well as non-conformance support

Your Profile:

  • BA or BS qualified
  • 7+ years of field sales experience or similar technical / quality function in PCB/Backplane
  • Experience in high-tech, automotive, industrial, medical, aviation
  • Knowledge of the complete PCB design cycle
  • Preferrably experience on high speed design and RF technologies, impedance and insertion loss simulation
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and handle pressure
  • Time management and organizational skills are an essential part of this position
  • Understanding of sales activities, sales cycle and techniques
  • Established, strong and significant relationships with key technology drivers in the market and has very thorough and long establishes working relationships with customers
  • This position requires travel 25-50% of the time
