Rollout and Transition Manager for Transport Network

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join OXG Glasfaser GmbH as a Rollout and Transition Manager for Transport Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth rollout and transition of our transport network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop guidelines for the integration of passive and active FTTH network components for the planning and installation phase, based on engineering specifications.
  • Oversee logistics for OXG aggregation nodes (MFG/Nvt) and ensure that orders are triggered and necessary materials are available for deployment areas.
  • Provide technical expertise to vendors from the proposal phase to invoice review.
  • Ensure that network deployment requirements are met during the introduction of new passive and active FTTH network components.
  • Collaborate closely with strategic vendors (Vodafone & Altice) to analyze potential network optimizations or adjustments to deployment concepts.
  • Utilize knowledge of FTTH network components to present interdepartmental connections and expand our knowledge databases.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of telecommunications and fiber optic deployment.
  • A degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering or telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of xPON and project management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and make decisions.
