Software Development Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Biomolecular Analysis Division in Waldbronn, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing high-quality software products that collaborate with newly developed analytical instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop software that integrates with analytical instruments, working closely with a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Design and develop web applications using Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Develop front-end software that interacts with a back-end via web protocols.
- Take ownership of quality and timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in software design and development using web applications frameworks such as Angular, Typescript, and Javascript.
- Experience with backend Microsoft technologies such as C#,.NET Framework, and.NET Core.
- Experience with database technologies, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Entity Framework Core.
Preferred Qualifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across multiple functions and geographies.
- Knowledge of analytical instrumentation or life sciences markets.
- Experience working with Atlassian products or in a Scrum team with Scrum methodologies.
