Position Overview
We invite you to join our esteemed organization as a Trainee in Train Traffic Control (m/f/d) with DB InfraGO AG. This comprehensive training program spans two years and is designed to equip you with the essential skills required for a successful career in train operations.
Training Details:
The vocational training will take place at a designated educational institution, followed by a practical assignment that lasts six months. Upon completion of your initial training, you will embark on a two-year advanced qualification program as a Specialist in Railway Operations.
Key Responsibilities During Training:
- Monitoring and managing train operations with the aid of advanced technology.
- Controlling switches and signal lights to effectively manage train movements.
- Engaging in communication with train operators through radio systems.
What You Will Learn:
- Operational procedures within a control center.
- Utilization of various control center technologies.
- Familiarization with regulations governing daily train operations.
Advanced Qualification Focus:
- Timetable coordination and emergency management.
- Training and mentoring future Train Operators in Traffic Control.
Candidate Profile:
- Completion of a (technical) secondary school diploma.
- Strong focus and dependability.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
