Role Overview

Your Role

The Strategic Offer Management team is crucial at Palo Alto Networks, collaborating with Fortune 1000 companies to create and present strategic business rationales for becoming their cybersecurity partner throughout their digital evolution. As the ideal candidate, you will lead and engage with diverse teams, including sales executives, solution consultants, and representatives from various departments. This role allows you to showcase your expertise in sales strategy, consultative engagement, and execution. Your skills in business analysis, problem-solving, program management, executive communication, and consensus-building will be essential. You will assist our clients in achieving transformative platformization, driving the development and execution of cross-platform agreements across our broad portfolio.

Your Contributions

  • Strategic Deal Development: Partner with the GTM and sales leadership to identify and engage potential enterprise clients for large-scale cross-platform agreements, crafting comprehensive strategies to secure significant contracts that align with both company and client goals.
  • Deal Structure & Customization: Customize network security solutions in collaboration with sales and GTM teams to address specific enterprise client requirements, utilizing a thorough understanding of our technology.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth needs evaluations with prospective enterprise clients, developing persuasive proposals that highlight the value of our solutions in resolving their distinct challenges.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics tools to extract insights that inform deal strategies and negotiations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various teams to align on deal structures, legal stipulations, and financial aspects, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Negotiation and Deal Finalization: Employ negotiation strategies to secure advantageous terms while achieving revenue objectives and maintaining robust client relationships.
  • Market Intelligence: Remain informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to enhance our enterprise agreements and network security strategies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Keep precise records of pipeline activities, customer interactions, closed deals, and revenue generated, providing regular updates to the leadership team regarding progress and challenges.

Qualifications

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field - MBA preferred or equivalent military experience.
  • A proven history of at least [7 years] in enterprise sales, deal negotiation, or technology business development.
  • Experience in developing and presenting high-quality recommendations and deliverables for client-facing and executive-level audiences.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the capability to analyze complex business issues and formulate innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Results-driven with a successful track record of meeting or surpassing revenue targets.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity (industry, solutions, competitors, etc.) is advantageous.
