Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Expert Event IT Specialist to join our Corporate Service Management department. As an Expert Event IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional user experience in our Energy Club conference area. You will play a key role in planning and execution of large-scale events, such as annual general meetings, board chats, or townhall meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate the IT in the Energy Club conference area, including meeting room technology, to ensure its proper functioning.
- Provide technical consulting and assistance to users in case of technical challenges with the meeting room technology.
- Assist users in the VR room, offering guidance and support for optimal utilization of the VR technology.
- Collaborate with event organizers and stakeholders to support the planning and execution of large-scale events, ensuring the availability and functionality of Event IT and site IT.
- Set up and operate audiovisual equipment during events, ensuring a seamless and high-quality setup.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment and resources for events.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology to enhance the overall user experience.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event IT and site IT in a professional setting.
- Experience in installation and maintenance of Event IT and site IT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular working hours.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate through unexpected changes and challenges.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in using collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, Cisco Webex, Zoom, and others.
- Technical knowledge of hardware solutions in the field of meeting room technology and video conferencing systems.
- Understanding of network technologies, PCs, operating systems, and peripheral devices.
- Experience in handling sound engineering, microphones, and speakers.
- Expertise in mobile equipment for video conferencing audio.
