Responsibilities

As an Expert Event IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional user experience in our Energy Club conference area. Your expertise in event IT and site IT will contribute to the success of large-scale events, such as annual general meetings, board chats, or townhall meetings. Your tasks will include:

  • Maintaining and operating the IT in the Energy Club conference area, including meeting room technology.
  • Providing technical consulting and assistance to users in case of technical challenges with the meeting room technology.
  • Assisting users in the VR room, offering guidance and support for optimal utilization of the VR technology.
  • Collaborating with event organizers and stakeholders to support the planning and execution of large-scale events.
  • Setting up and operating audiovisual equipment during events, ensuring a seamless and high-quality setup.
  • Coordinating with external vendors and service providers to ensure the availability and functionality of necessary equipment and resources for events.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in event IT and site IT in a professional setting.
  • Experience in installation and maintenance of Event IT and site IT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside regular working hours.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate through unexpected changes and challenges.
