Product Development Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our product management team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic product development and launches.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
- Develop and implement product portfolio strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch new products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Lead product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with product positioning and business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor pricing to ensure optimal pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and preferences.
Business Support:
- Provide technical support and training to sales teams and customers to ensure successful product adoption.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge and expertise to stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business opportunities and challenges.
Marketing Activities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote new products and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to capture market requirements and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Self-motivated and result-driven, with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
