Respiratory Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

As EMEA Product Manager for Respiratory Endoscopy, you will drive strategic market development projects to secure Olympus' market leadership in the region. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, managing, and controlling sales data, including monitoring and GAP analysis per product group and country.
  • Defining concrete sales and marketing measures to ensure the growth of the respective product portfolio.
  • Carrying out market share and market volume analyses, and keeping an overview of competitors' solutions and products in the EMEA markets.
  • Managing the respective product portfolio from product planning and forecasting to product launch and phase-out phases, proactively supporting local product managers and sales teams in the EMEA countries.
  • Implementing the European product, pricing, and sales strategy, as well as the segmentation and targeting policy for the respective portfolio in close cooperation with interface departments.
  • Supporting the development of innovative communication and marketing initiatives for your respective area, with the aim of taking marketing activities to a higher level.
  • Interacting with healthcare providers, collecting product ideas and market feedback, and conducting product evaluations to identify customer needs and challenges.
  • Representing Olympus and its products at customer visits, international congresses, and customer events, and building and expanding a network.
  • Creating training concepts for the respective product portfolio and supporting internal and external product training if required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in industrial engineering, medical technology, management, or business administration.
  • Professional experience in downstream product management, strategic marketing, or marketing communication, with sales experience desirable, ideally in the MedTech sector.
  • Initial experience in coordinating multinational and cross-departmental teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English, with knowledge of German or other European languages a plus.
  • A customer-oriented and commercial mindset, good analytical and conceptual skills, and an affinity for medical technologies and procedures.
  • An inspiring character and strong teamwork skills.
