Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer specifications and relevant legal/statutory requirements related to quality, comparing them to Voith standards to identify key relationships and discrepancies, ensuring effective requirements management and compliance.
  • Develop and issue project-specific Quality Plans and documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Standards, and Management Guidelines.
  • Assist in formulating project-specific sourcing and manufacturing strategies and timelines, ensuring all pertinent quality activities and requirements are addressed and aligned with these strategies.
  • Facilitate, review, and approve project-specific Design & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), verification and validation reports, ensuring appropriate methodology application, risk assessment, classification, action definition, and implementation.
  • Conduct process audits and verifications within Voith, utilizing project-specific data analysis to ensure quality is integrated into processes across Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Field Services.
  • Promote, support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within Voith based on analysis of project-specific data.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or related fields) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Relevant experience in Quality Management and Quality Engineering, with a preference for experience in Hydro MEGA or Complex Projects.
  • Comprehensive professional experience and understanding of business processes, including non-quality functions such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Purchasing.
  • Qualification as an internal and external auditor according to ISO standards; Lead Auditor certification is advantageous.
  • Expertise in electrical, dimensional, and NDT testing, along with knowledge of Lean Management principles is a plus.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken (additional languages are beneficial).
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a results-oriented, solution-focused, and customer-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
