Project Quality Engineer (m|f|d)

Your Responsibilities
- Analyze customer specifications and applicable legal/statutory requirements related to quality, comparing them with Voith standards to identify key relationships and discrepancies, ensuring effective requirements management and compliance.
- Develop and issue project-specific Quality Plans and documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Standards, and Management Guidelines.
- Assist in formulating project-specific sourcing and manufacturing strategies and timelines, ensuring all relevant quality activities and requirements are integrated and aligned with these strategies.
- Facilitate, review, and approve project-specific Design & Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs), verification, and validation reports, ensuring proper methodology application, risk assessment, action definition, and implementation.
- Conduct process audits and verifications within Voith, utilizing project-specific data analysis to ensure quality is embedded in processes across Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Field Services.
- Lead, support, and promote continuous improvement initiatives within Voith based on project-specific data analysis.
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, or related fields) or equivalent qualifications.
- Relevant experience in Quality Management and Quality Engineering, with a preference for experience in Hydro MEGA or Complex Projects.
- Proficient understanding of business processes and non-quality functions such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, and Purchasing.
- Certification as an Internal and External Auditor according to ISO standards as a Lead Auditor is advantageous.
- Qualifications in electrical, dimensional, NDT testing, and Lean Management are preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented, solution-focused, and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams.
