POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director to join our team in Germany. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to be part of a diverse and innovative team that is reshaping data management practices globally.

As a frontrunner in cutting-edge technology and software solutions, Commvault encourages its employees to harness their skills and pursue meaningful opportunities to impact the industry positively. This position involves leading our sales initiatives at the district level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee district sales operations, partner alliances, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate and execute a strategic plan to enhance Commvault's market presence across all product offerings.
  • Act as a mentor and coach for Sales Representatives within the district, focusing on complex named accounts.
  • Expand the reach and sales of Commvault's solutions within designated accounts while nurturing long-term relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets aligned with Commvault's business objectives.
  • Drive the sales pipeline to secure consistent revenue growth that surpasses financial goals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring client satisfaction and effective account management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party partners to enhance market penetration.
  • Inspire and lead team members to achieve their full potential, ensuring customer and employee satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in building and leading sales teams within the Software/SaaS sector, particularly in Data Management/Security and Cyber Resilience.
  • Experience in driving sales through channel partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional negotiation abilities with a history of closing deals efficiently.
  • Charismatic presenter and public speaker.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proficiency in both German and English languages.
