We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Specialist to join our team at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our corporate goals and visions forward.

About the Role

The ESG Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and programs. This will include supporting the development and implementation of processes for compliance with the LkSG (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtgesetz) and monitoring and analyzing ESG-related performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will have completed university studies, ideally in the field of freight forwarding and logistics or sustainability management. Experience in sustainability reporting, at best according to CSRD or GRI, is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and programs
  • Support in developing and implementing processes for compliance with the LkSG (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtgesetz)
  • Monitor and analyze ESG-related performance indicators
  • Maintain and enhance data management systems for sustainability data
  • Perform detailed analyses and generate reports to assess sustainability performance
  • Assist in the preparation of reports in the area of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), following international standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for data collection and verification
  • Conduct risk assessments and evaluations regarding human rights and environmental standards in the supply chain
