Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Officer to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for identifying and managing risks to the organisation, its employees, stakeholders, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee and monitor enterprise risk management activities, including risk assessments and control structures
  • Facilitate regular risk and control assessments, and produce reports to senior management
  • Perform independent risk assessments and analyses to address potential or specific new risks
  • Collaborate with business functions to handle risk-related projects and advise senior management on risk scenarios
  • Manage loss event reporting, incident reporting, and investigation of root causes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in finance, economics, or a technology-related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable role in Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Controlling
  • Experience in crypto and/or trading is a plus
  • Compliance experience or knowledge of German financial market regulation is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creative in finding solutions, structured in implementation
  • Dynamic person with an innovative spirit, positive attitude, and strong motivational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
