Team Overview:
The Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) team operates within the Chief Risk Office at Deutsche Bank, focusing on the identification and management of both financial and non-financial risks across the organization.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Risk Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining and implementing minimum standards for managing information technology risks across the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing a comprehensive IT Risk Management Policy in collaboration with relevant control functions.
- Establishing qualitative and quantitative metrics to enhance the organization's Risk Appetite Statement concerning IT risks.
- Collaborating with IT and Information Security teams to create and disseminate training materials related to established policies and procedures.
- Supporting the execution of organizational priorities, including risk assessments, risk appetite monitoring, and transformation initiatives related to IT risk.
- Engaging with group functions to share insights and ensure alignment with broader organizational requirements.
- Providing support for regulatory initiatives and addressing IT risk management requirements.
We are seeking candidates who possess:
- A university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in operational risk management or front office IT risk management, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks related to risk assessment.
- Professional certifications such as Lead Auditor or Non-Financial Risk Management are advantageous.
- A solid understanding of risk management principles and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships within the organization.
- Experience with industry-standard risk management applications is highly desirable.
