About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Officer to join our team at Avaloq. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the AMS Europe team and other stakeholders in various organizational topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support of Budgeting and Forecasting Processes: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Communication and Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Controlling teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Task Management: Track and follow up on tasks and issues of the AMS Europe team to ensure timely completion and resolution.
  • Onboarding and Training: Support the onboarding of new team members and provide training on company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare presentations, reports, and other documentation to support business decisions.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Support auditing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Goal-Oriented and Independent: Demonstrate a goal-oriented and independent way of working with strong organizational skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven track record as a Project Management Officer with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office products and have knowledge of English and German to at least B-2 level.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the banking and financial services environment.
  • Technical Skills: User knowledge of Jira and Confluence, experience with SAP, and PMP or Prince 2 certificates.
