Position Overview
The PMO Consultant for the S/4HANA Finance Transformation initiative is essential in steering the project effectively, navigating its complexities, and ensuring it aligns with the overarching strategic objectives of the transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management and Oversight: Guarantee timely project delivery within budget constraints while meeting stakeholder expectations. This encompasses leading vital project processes, fostering transparency, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders to manage the project backlog and implementation phases.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the steering committee and joint business/IT project leadership to formulate a business transformation strategy that resonates with the company's strategic vision.
  • Value and Impact Focus: Establish a content and value-driven transformation office that propels significant organizational impact. This includes effectively scoping the program to concentrate on high-value areas while steering clear of low-value customizations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Conduct thorough reviews and decision-making meetings, ensuring robust communication and collaboration between the program team and external partners. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management regarding project progress.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices.
  • Change Management: Spearhead change management initiatives, ensuring timely alignment with key decision-makers to secure organization-wide support. Effectively communicate the key benefits of the S/4HANA transformation during each Rollout Wave.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A proven history (3-5 years) in project management, ideally with experience in overseeing large-scale ERP or finance transformation projects. Familiarity with S/4HANA implementations is highly advantageous.
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Technical Skills: A foundational understanding of S/4HANA Finance and core business processes. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership: Competence in leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing intricate stakeholder relationships. Ability to drive project agendas and make strategic decisions.
  • Languages: Proficient command of English (both written and spoken).
  • Living Experience: Experience living in Europe and working in a European-based organization.
