Your Future Responsibilities
We are seeking a working student (15-20 hours per week) to support the Banking & Regulation (B&R) team within the Controlling & Risk Management department at RWE AG. The B&R team plays a crucial role in managing the RWE Group's regulatory submissions to both national and international supervisory bodies. Collaboration with the Group's trading division, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST), is essential, as this unit represents our largest customer with a diverse global trading portfolio.
- Assist the team with daily tasks related to regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., EMIR, CFTC, REMIT).
- Review incoming invoices and initiate the payment process.
- Manage the daily processing of established reporting frameworks for compliance with national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory requirements for both physical and derivative transactions.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and counterparties.
- Document processes and procedures effectively.
Your Essential Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Desire to deepen your understanding of energy (commodity) trading and its regulatory landscape.
- Proficient in various applications, particularly MS Office (especially Excel & Power BI).
- Ability to work in an international environment with strong communication skills in both German and English.
- A collaborative team player with effective interpersonal skills.
Desirable, but Not Required
- Knowledge of the energy sector.
- Experience in data analysis.
