We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team at Freudenberg. As an HSE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough HSE audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement effective measures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance HSE awareness and knowledge among employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk analysis and assessment, and provide expert guidance on HSE matters.
- Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of HSE policies, procedures, and records.
- Represent Freudenberg in external HSE forums and stakeholder meetings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of HSE expertise, with several years of experience in a similar role.
- Additional qualifications in occupational safety or a related field are highly desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in German and English languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
