The Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer to join our core R&D team at our headquarters in Hilden, Germany. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the design and development of laboratory disposables for our products. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and advancing our technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop plastic assemblies with external partners, ensuring high-quality and regulatory compliance.
- Document development processes, including IVD standards, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Contribute to the further development of technology for laboratory disposables, including research, feasibility studies, patent screening, and patent development.
- Design and develop innovative microfluidic systems for laboratory applications.
- Implement new testing and analysis systems for complex plastic articles.
Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in the development of complex plastic assemblies, preferably in medical technology or diagnostics.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in statistics and test planning.
- Innovative mindset, with a track record of driving technological advancements.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to take on laboratory and workshop tasks.
- Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
- Fluent English and German language skills, written and spoken.
