Senior Project Manager - Renewable Energy

Piper Maddox is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team in Munich, Germany. As a key member of the company's renewable energy division, you will be responsible for managing utility-scale solar PV projects from planning to completion.

About the Role:

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the development of assigned projects;
  • Communicate and align with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, construction authorities, and internal teams;
  • Responsible for dealing with executive documentation, participating in admissions committees, and tendering procedures;
  • Keep track of and participate in development, engineering, and construction documentation activities, including schedules of different stages and allocation of resources;
  • Arrange and lead relevant project meetings;
  • Follow up on the planned budget during the construction phase;
  • Analyze and report project progress;
  • Execute control over construction works and perform quality checks;
  • Build strong and cooperative internal relationships with other departments within the Group and their stakeholders;
  • Keep project documentation up-to-date in all project phases;
  • Host regular on-site meetings to ensure continuous monitoring of projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering;
  • Several years of experience in EPC Turnkey project management in the construction/plant engineering industry, ideally in the field of PV power plants;
  • Experience in Electrical and/or mechanical engineering;
  • Reporting and handling of subcontractors;
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is considered an advantage;
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary;
  • Computer skills - MS Office, MS Project, ideally knowledge of Procore;
  • Fluent German and English (written & verbal);
  • Good communication skills.
