Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for EV charging products in the EU, aligning with Amazon's global goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address key challenges in EVSE technology, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Lead the definition and validation of EVSE products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with internal EV design teams and EV OEMs to ensure EVSE-EV compatibility and deployment configurations.
- Evaluate and implement new and emerging EVSE technologies, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, or Software Engineering from an accredited university, or a related scientific field.
- 8+ years of experience in mechatronics or electrical engineering in the automotive, electrification, power systems, power electronics, or control systems for industrial systems.
- Proven track record in EVSE technology definition, validation, and application in large-scale, cross-functional, international projects.
- Expert knowledge of equipment safety and performance certifications required for operation of electrical systems.
- Master's degree in Engineering or MBA in Engineering Management.
- 10+ years of experience with power products used in design, operation, or maintenance of large-scale infrastructure systems.
- Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations, including IEC, CE, and ISO.
- Ability to work with total autonomy and effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment.
