Senior Character Artist

Crytek is seeking an exceptional Senior Character Artist to join our Hunt: Showdown team in Frankfurt, Germany. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, photorealistic characters for our game.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement character concepts, ideas, and designs with attention to detail and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with Tech Art, Concept Art, and other departments to ensure seamless character production.
- Work closely with the team to create and maintain a consistent art style and quality.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current game art processes, texturing pipelines, and limitations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in character art and game development.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a Character Artist capacity.
- Expert understanding of current game art processes, texturing pipelines, limitations, and dependencies.
- Strong skills in facial sculpting, anatomy, and topology.
- Proficiency in 3ds Max, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, and Zbrush.
- Ability to create believable, photorealistic human characters within a game engine.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Positive, problem-solving, and team-oriented attitude.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Experience working on live service games.
- Knowledge of real-time hair production using hair cards.
- Experience with rigging, skinning, or animation.
- Traditional Art background or self-education.
