Our Chemicals Europe division is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive (f/m/d) to spearhead and enhance the expansion of our clientele within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Concentrating on the DACH regions, you will facilitate the creation of new client partnerships and the exploration of innovative product avenues. Identifying fresh sales prospects through inbound lead engagement and proactive outreach via calls and emails. You will approach this task with enthusiasm and creativity in the execution of product and regional strategies. You will oversee the management of leads throughout the sales funnel by scheduling meetings, following up on prospects, and monitoring progress towards achieving sales objectives. Gather insights regarding clients' current and future requirements in the designated market segment, analyze market trends, and collaboratively develop effective sales strategies and initiatives with the team. You will serve as a liaison for clients, connecting with business development, product management, and supply chain teams to deliver optimal customer solutions that align with our product and service offerings.

Candidate Profile:

With a background in business studies or equivalent formal sales training, you have accumulated several years of professional experience in procurement, marketing, and sales of products within the chemical sector. You possess a solid understanding of the sales process in the chemical industry, showcasing a high degree of proficiency in negotiating supply and sales agreements. You demonstrate flexibility and the ability to swiftly adapt to new circumstances and diverse stakeholders, earning respect as a dependable and trustworthy negotiator. You engage with both existing and prospective business contacts with an open mindset. You exhibit a collaborative spirit, are proactive, and are eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities. Excellent communication skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in both English and German. Familiarity and experience with standard IT applications (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, or similar).
