Fire Alarm Dispatcher

Join the U.S. Army Europe and Africa team as a Fire Alarm Dispatcher, responsible for coordinating emergency responses and ensuring the safety of personnel and assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing emergency calls, dispatching response teams, and providing critical support during emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and process emergency calls from various sources, including fire alarm systems and personnel
- Dispatch response teams, including fire department personnel, emergency medical services, and other support units
- Provide critical support during emergency situations, including coordinating response efforts and communicating with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of emergency responses and incidents
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective emergency response and recovery efforts
- Minimum Basic Requirements: E&T Level I (completed lower secondary school / Hauptschulabschluss) PLUS German certification as basic fire fighter (abgeschlossene Feuerwehrgrundausbildung, gemaess Feuerwehrdienstvorschrift 2 (FwDV2))
- Language Proficiency Level: English Language Proficiency Level AND German Language Proficiency Level C1 required
- Valid host Nation certification to service and recharge fire extinguishers
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD certification as Firefighter I & II, Driver Operator Pumper, DOD HAZMAT operations, Host Nation SCBA certification (Ausbildung zum Atemschutzgeraetetraeger gem. FwDV 2), HN radio communicator training (Ausbildung zum Sprechfunker gem. FwDV2), dispatcher (FEZ Grundlehrgang) and DOD Telecommunicator II
